WCF Commissions in association with IARF - Kochi, India September 1-4 2010
The International Association for Religious Freedom is hosting two Commissions in Kochi, India at the Gokulam Park Hotel from September 1st to 4th.
Commission 1: FREE RELIGION AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
Can the IARF be not only for Religious Freedom as the name suggests in English, or can we also be for "Free Religion" as the Japanese name proclaims? How much freedom do we support? Do we support the freedom of religion to punish those who defect?
Commission 2: PROGRAMMES OF HERITAGE AND HOPE
in association with the World Congress of Faiths
A Commission to work with Chapters to plan and promote programmes celebrating such topics as the 500th Anniversary of the birth of Michael Servetus in 2011.
The fee for attending either commission is £20.00 sterling (approximately $30 USA).
This includes 4 meals and an afternoon tour of Kochi on 3 September.
Costs - £20 sterling, $30 US Dollars, or the equivalent in rupees. To register for either commission, please e-mail Richard Boeke r.boeke@virgin.net immediately - by 26 August at the latest.
