Celebrating the life of Huston Smith

We look forward to welcoming you to our lecture with Richard Boeke celebrating the life of Huston Smith.

Huston Smith, who died in December, was a renowned author and theologian whose book 'The World's Religions' has been a standard text for 50 years and TV series 'The Search for America' was a treasure trove of meetings with spiritual leaders.

Revd. Richard Boeke is a Vice President of World Congress of Faiths, Co-chair of the Peace Commission of the International Association of Religious Freedom, a lecturer and an author.

The talk will follow our Annual General Meeting at 5pm

A cross-disciplinary conference exploring the difficult questions and seeking fresh answers

It is no longer unusual for different faiths to find common purpose, and to enjoy dialogue. But what are the difficult questions in such encounters in the light of the human tendency to create insider and outsider groups? What is the relevance for current life and integration policy? This cross-disciplinary day conference promises new perspectives for interfaith relations.
